The Arenal Volcano Region is known for being an exuberant place full of flora and fauna without mention all the activities you can do in the area while you are here.
This is why we brought together this 4 nights and five days package for you, perfectly organized to make it worth every single moment.

Day #1: Arrival day – (Airfare is not included) -Ground transportation from SJO Airport to your hotel in La Fortuna.
– Once you arrive at Juan Santa Maria International Airport; a representative from Volcano Travel will pick you up at the airport to take you to your hotel choice in La Fortuna. (We only have one complementary shared service at 15:00 hrs).You can always request a private service or a night stay in San Jose for an extra charge.

4-Nights stay in La Fortuna at one of the following options with availability in town – It can be, Montechiari, Monte Real, Hotel El Secreto or similar

Day #2: Adventures day in the rainforest
-After enjoying your breakfast is ready to pick you up at your hotel at 08:00 am. Enjoy an unforgettable experience through the lava trails of the Arenal Volcano. This is a medium difficulty hike with a very original landscape and great panoramic views of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal.

Day#3: Chose one of the next options Pedal Board Tour or Safari Float
Only one activity included- (Both travelers must select the same activity).

-Pedal Board Tour: Pedal Boarding on Lake Arenal is a fun way to explore the beautiful lake, have an adventure, and see amazing views of the Arenal Volcano. This Pedal Board tour will take you gliding across the calm and peaceful waters of Lake Arenal that sits at the foot of the breathtaking Arenal Volcano, just outside of La Fortuna. Although it sounds familiar to Stand up Paddle Boarding, it is very different. In fact, the board is powered by the strongest part of your body, your legs, and allows you to grasp the firm handlebars for balance, making this activity easy and fun for people of all ages.

-Safari Float: This is a great opportunity to spot wildlife. Our professional bilingual guide will share all his knowledge about flora and fauna. You will truly appreciate the wonders of Peñas Blancas River and the surrounding rainforest as we travel down the river without a motor, this way you will enjoy the journey quietly rowing and taking photos. Make sure to bring your camera and binoculars on this tour!

Day #4: Your day off
– This day is open to your desire. You can stay at your hotel and enjoy a laydown day or ask your travel planner to send you a list of activities to do in this area. You can find options like White Water rafting, Spelunking, ATV, horseback riding and much more.

Day #5: Departure Day
Today we will drive you to the airport so that you make it on time for your flight home! The airport is approximately 3 hours from your hotel in la Fortuna and you have to consider the two hours prior your departure flight that you need to be at the airport.
